The annual ‘Wings of Baltics’ festival, which is the largest of its kind in the region, welcomed the revolutionary aeroSPARX display team for the 2018 edition. The team performed its incredible routine alongside the iconic Baltic Bees Jet formation team for something unique.
The event, which draws in spectators from the popular European destination of Riga and surrounding areas, is the latest in a long list of high-profile events that aeroSPARX have had the privilege of performing at. The 2018 edition was situated in the Latvian capital of Riga and the watching crowds were treated to a collaboration with the Baltics Bees a 6 ship jet formation team performing an opposition pass with aeroSPARX in another first for the team.
Rob Barsby, aeroSPARX Pilot, said: “Performing at these kind of events in front of such passionate and enthusiastic crowds with other quality teams is a real pleasure for us as a team. When we start on our journey as aeroSPARX we never envisaged that the team would be performing on this kind of stage, so for us to realise that vision is really special.
“We would like to thank everyone who came out to Riga for the event and of course our sponsors and partners who continue to help us make the aeroSPARX dream a reality.”
