A World First with AeroSparx

AeroSparx were a part of the long-term project to deliver a world first in the UAE, for the Dubai World Cup. The night time performance brought together two aircraft of AeroSparx Display Team, 2,000 drones, fireworks, a light show, and a 110 metre-long video screen for a dramatic ten-minute performance.

AeroSparx were responsible for operating filming drones during the event, and played a role in the three-year project to deliver this display. This included operations from the Palm Jumeirah strip, cooperation with locally-based drone specialists Choppershoot and Airscope, and leading the safety oversight of filming operations with prototype DJI equipment.
